Residents get virtual Rent App routing and account numbers, input them into your property management software, and you get paid. That's it. Zero changes to your workflow, zero new processes to learn.
No, you get paid via your PMS and do not need an account with us. If you received a payment link from us, that means your resident created an account for direct deposits instead of portal payments, and they should contact our support team (support@rent.app) to correct this.
Rent App works with all property management platforms with zero integration required on your end. Once a resident is approved for Split Pay, they receive Rent App account and routing numbers and update their payment method in your portal with these numbers. Rent App works with all property management systems that accept ACH payments including but not limited to: Appfolio, Yardi, Buildium, Rent Manager, Entrata, ResMen, TurboTenant, Propertyware, Rent Cafe, Rent Manager, Realpage, Doorloop, and more.
We have an extensive Marketing Hub where you’ll find flyers, email and SMS templates, videos, and more that you can distribute to your residents. There is no need for an integration or signing any contracts with us.
There is no integration needed, meaning your residents can start using Rent App immediately. Residents can check eligibility on our website, and once approved they will receive virtual routing and account numbers to use in your portal.
We do not charge rent back or contact you about any unpaid balances. Residents have to pay off their balance with us to use Split Pay again the following month.
